At MYPATH, we are dedicated to supporting teachers and schools in their mission to inspire and empower primary-aged children.

We know that early exposure to career-related learning helps children see the value of their learning, broadens their aspirations, and encourages them to be able to confidently articulate their skillsets.

What does the research say about primary careers?

Research tells us that introducing career-related learning at an early age is crucial. Children begin to form stereotypes about careers based on gender, ethnicity, and social background as young as 6 years old. As a result, children begin to question the suitability of future aspirations which can significantly shape their future subject choices and career pathways.
